There were at least two users in our site whose email addresses were not imported into the account created for them when signing up using Facebook. When we tried to replicate the issue, it does not seem to happen. Looks like it is happening randomly. Other details like First name, last name are getting imported. Only the email field has an issue. We have not checked the "Email" field under extended permissions. Is it mandatory?

I saw this behavior too with version 6.x-1.6

For some users the email was successfully imported and for some others not.
What I don't understand is why the users are successfully created without email although the email field is mandatory during registration. This should be corrected in order to ask for the email if it is not correctly imported and also deny the new user creation if there is no email given.
