Hello,
I just set up my Drupal site and have the problem that all uploaded files have wrong names when I try to download them. They have names like "Download.pdf" (PDF-files) or just "Download" (7z-files). Maybe I also need to say that I have set the default download method to "private".

This are the modules I have enabled:

EDIT: Problem solved: It was my webspace provider's fault. I don't know what it was, but when I transfered the site to another provider the download names became correct.

Are you uploading files through a field or wysiwyg editor? Do any have the correct names? What types of files have you tried to upload? What does the original name look like (contain spaces, special characters, etc)?

What type of field? Built-in file field? What are the settings for the field?
