I have just redesigned my site using drupal and used the tb nex theme.
for some reason the news panels have gone funny! panels 2 & 3 which should be at the side of panel 1 have dropped down below panel 1?
screen shot attached! anyone know what reasons could be causing this?

Looks like too many items in panel 1 which is forcing the theme to have to readjust. Panel 1 is twice as large as a single panel.

Think that's how it's supposed to be! link to theme above ^
Column 1 is twice as big as 2 & 3
On my site though 2 & 3 are dropping below 1?

considering its a theme that isn't freely distributed and that there is no link to the site it's difficult to aid.

Been using wordpress for last 4 years and just took the leap over to drupal :-) so just teething problems getting used to the software.
any help on fixing this is greatly appreciated.

Taking a look at the theme docs indicates that there are multiple settings contained within the theme itself. That said, you are likely better off with support directly from that outfit @ http://www.themebrain.com/drupal-theme/tb-nex
comparing the CSS of your site with the CSS on the demo site looks to me like the padding or margins have been increased causing the issue.
