I have installed the GMap module on my development site, which is currently hosted on my laptop. I need a Google maps API key, but Google requires a web address to generate the key. Is there a way around this problem if I want to use Google maps on my localhost for now?

Hi!

Yes, you can do that. Just apply for an API key for the domain http://localhost

It worked for me!
