I have this set up on two content types. The title is correctly being created on both automatically, however on one of the content types, the title field is not being hidden in the node/add, node/edit form. The two content types are set up identically.

Edit: Neither content types are hiding the title field. I had to let Display Suite manage the form in order to hide the title.
