  1. Release Currency 8.x-3.0 (#2614900: 8.x-3.0 checklist)
  2. Release Plugin 8.x-2.0 (#2614290: 8.x-2.0 checklist)
  3. Blocking PaymentReferenceWebTest failures
  4. Implement some of the Plugin module's new Views integrations, so we reduce the size of our code base and future maintenance difficulties.
  5. Run branch tests one final time to ensure none of core's BC breaks affected Plugin.

4 years later, the views stuff didn't happen but lots of other fixes did. Lets finally do a stable release: https://www.drupal.org/project/payment/releases/8.x-2.0
