As the title says, I'm having trouble figuring out what the problem is here... when going to the home page and one other page the sub menus do not show. If I roll over that menu item the submenus show up fine. Every other page when you load the page the submenus are visible as they should be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Ah... okay, well I found the cause for one of the instances of this problem, there was a duplicate entry of one of the categories. But for the home page, it looks like because is used as the path, it comes up as a weird ID in the trail. It gets a negative 341 or 348 sometimes... it varies... and so it won't show up, as that number is obviously not in the list of of active ID's.

Maybe someone can help me figure out how to fix that?

Hey chris_slater,

First off, I don't have a solution unfortunately. I am, however, experiencing the same problem, but with all of my submenu items. Going to their respective pages, the submenu items don't stay, they simply disappear after about 1 second of mousing away from them. You said you fixed the problem on all but the Home page... any tips or suggestions? Again, sorry to bother you with a request on YOUR request. Thanks for any help you may have...

jweedman> It is the normal behaviour of the module. The submenu for the current page appears a few seconds before mousing away from a menu. It there is no submenu for the current page, the submenu disappears. You can set the delay in the block configuration.

Has anyone found a solution for this? I'm getting the same problem. I have 1 menu tab that should have sub items show up when I hover over it. The sub menu items show up when I'm on the respective page but not when I'm on the home page. I'm using views for both the home page and the page for which the tab links to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BTW, I'm using drupal 6 and I'm not using Dynamic Persistent Menu... It's simply a menu that was created using Artisteer, a software to create themes. I don't think it's a problem with the software....

how to show submenu after page loading without hovering on mother?
I understand that I have to change dynamic_persistent_menu.js but how?
