Try the following:

  • create a new (signup enabled) node
  • change some of the settings under "Signup settings" (e.g. uncheck "Send confirmation")
  • hit Preview

Now all signup settings you've made are resetted to their defaults.

Ok, here's the patch (unfortunately not created via cvs diff because of a very restrictive proxy that doesn't allow cvs access from here :-{ ).

Confirmed the bug in 6.x but not 5.x. However, the patch completely fails to apply to DRUPAL-6--1 or HEAD. What version did you use for this? If you can, please re-roll against the latest code in CVS (DRUPAL-6--1 branch would be best). Thanks!

Ahh, no, it was just DOS line endings on the patch that was breaking things. Tested and works as expected. Committed to DRUPAL-6--1 and HEAD. Thanks!
