Hi i was wondering if it would be posible to make a setting so that only the badge that requires the most userpoints is displayed. I just want to get a sort of level system in my forums. at the moment users are getting badges for every level.
I noticed that you can set the badges module to only display one badge, however i have badges for aministrators, moderators, special user recognition.
so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

aaronbaumanI needed this same functionality.
For my use case, it doesn't make any sense to have more than one point-based badge, so this patch forces point-valued badges to be unique on the user.
In other words, a user is only assigned ONE userpoint badge - the badge with the greatest userpoint threshold for which they qualify.
This could be setting-ified, but I did not have time to implement think about the implementation.
I think an optimal approach to this would be a change to user badges to create badge groups.
Then, users could progressively increase their badge-rank by group.
