I have many content types, and suddenly one of them disappeared from the "Create Content" page. Usually, just placing "add/node/article" will bypass this issue... but for some reason is not working here either. When I do type it in, it actually redirects me to the "Create Content" page.
The content type is still in the menu, the content is still in the system, and the tables are still in place. Flushing cache, running update, etc. None of that has helped either.
I have no idea what the issue is. Has anybody else had this before? I've searched but cannot quite find a similar issue.
Thanks!!!

Me too... but, sorted it
Six months later...
My "Navigation -> Content -> Create Content" menu had some of the menu-items for certain content-types disabled. This made them disappear not only from the Navigation menu but from the node/add page as well. Re-enabling the menu-items under "Add Content", for content-types "page", "blog", etc., brings them back to the node/add page.
Funny
