Please add the Haitian Creole language to localize.drupal.org (I did check at http://bit.ly/9xdtL that there is no existing issue for this language).

gábor hojtsyDo you know any existing efforts to translate Drupal to this language?
ultimikeOnly this: http://drupal.org/node/279673 - and it looks like it didn't go anywhere. Doing a d.o. search for "Haitian" only returns 7 results total, so I'm pretty confident no one is working on it.

gábor hojtsyOk, do you have anybody else to help out with your effort or is the plan to go it bravely alone? :)
ultimikeHeh - unfortunately, I don't speak Haitain Creole, but I have a client that is requiring the translation. They have staff that will provide the translations, I will merely facilitate the process.
I have put the word out to the Florida Drupal community as well - hoping someone will bite.

spookypld commentedEven Google Translate has Haitian Creole option, so this language may be really popular and anticipated. However in current Drupal language / locale modules there is no option for such language. You have to manually add it.
ultimikeI have a couple of translators ready to go...

gábor hojtsyOk, can you provide the plural forms for the language, since I could not find them on http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/l10n/pluralforms Thanks!
ultimikeGabor,
Based on this page: https://translations.launchpad.net/+languages/ht
I think the plural forms should be:
nplurals=2; plural=(n != 1)Does that seem correct?
Thanks,
-mike

gábor hojtsyOk, I've created the team at http://localize.drupal.org/languages/ht and made @ultimike the initial owner / admin. You can add any number of other admins and manage group level permissions of people.
Please expect that there might be bumps in the service. You are among the beta-tester of this live instance. Thanks for helping out and please report issues as you find them! Your team members can now join and help import existing translations and work on more translations.
Anybody can sign up for being a member of the team and they will be able to submit suggestions right away. The initial admin can change permissions of people signing up, widening their capabilities. See http://localize.drupal.org/node/616 for explanation on how. It is highly suggested to grant both moderation permissions to those who you also designate admins.
Welcome on board!

ultimikeExcellent, thank you.
Can you add us to this page as well: http://drupal.org/project/l10n_server
Thanks,

ultimikeI've started submitting some translations via the Localization Client module - how long before I can expect to see them show up on http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ht ? Does it need to wait for a cron run?
Thanks,
-mike
