For completeness, I think it probably needs to save the setting as well as demonstrating the behavior.

This is an issue in D6 as well.

Hate to add a table on just for this. It might be that we should say "It doesn't actually get saved" or something - see node example for how to save.

We can use a variable to hold the information instead of creating a table. A variable that could be shared with all nodes as a 'title' prepend tag or something like that. No matter what we do to save the information, we need to hook the form again in the submit callback to use the value.

"This field is a demonstration about how to use Vertical Tabs in your forms. This setting will not be saved."
