In RTL the closing bracket for the theme name ends up at the beginning. I am not sure if this will happen if I have a full translation in arabic or hebrew but this still shouldn't really happen. This happens in at least Firefox and Opera.

Screen-shot is in start but occurs in Bartik also.

The attached patch solves this issue by not using brackets.

I should say the screenshot was taken in Stark (not start...), sending to the bot.

Removing the parentheses is just avoiding one problem rather than finding and fixing the root cause. This artifact appears all over the interface, not just in the demonstrate block regions. For example see the attached images where I compare the language settings page in English LTR and RTL. You can see the same behavior with brackets and with periods too - the sentences are even broken up differently because of the problem with the periods. It's not even clear to me whether I *should* be seeing something sensible when I display a LTR language as RTL. Regardless, any fix should fix this in all locations, not just in once sentence on one page in one module.

This is absolutely not the solution. punctuation characters are called weak characters (they don't have direction information), that's why they appear out-of-context in RTL sentence.

The W3C page explains the possible solutions:
http://www.w3.org/International/tutorials/bidi-xhtml/#simplesolution

So we either enclose all punctuations with a directional tag, or use the invisible Unicode characters.

Note: translating the content to the targeted RTL language will solve this problem too, but it's still a bug.
