Recently i've got a client wanting this specific functionality

1. Require e-mail verification
2. Store and send the password from the first registration attempt/step.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post it but here it is a patch for this.
If somehow i can help getting this in the next 6.x release please let me know.

Cheers
Alex

New features are only for Drupal 7.x

And, sorry but, your patch doesn't seems to be do what you said in #1.

Thanks for letting me know. Do you care to tell me why it fails though? Is it because it's trying to patch against HEAD (7.x) ?

Thanks
Alex

edit - I know it doesn't do entirely what i said but i'm working on it. Just discovered that SimpleTest tool but seems like i need to learn more about it.
