I found after installing Pathauto module that unchecking the Automatic alias checkbox div.vertical-tabs can collapse, so the submit buttons end up over the tab list (its really bad). I am not sure why this happens (not really time to fully debug IE) but it can be easily fixed by setting position: relative; on div.vertical-tabs.

I'm setting this to major because this needs to be fixed before Drupal goes out in full release, Pathauto is a hugely popular module and this fix will mitigate other similar issues.

Title: div.vertical-tabs can loose haslayout » div.vertical-tabs can lose haslayout

Looks good. Simple fix, works as described, no splash damage that I can see.

problem occurs in IE7 (IE8 has no problem)

as soon as you click the "automatic alias" checkbox problem appears but as soon as you touch the scrollbar (in case the window height is less than the content) it gets corrected (WEIRD)

patch fixes this
