mbrett5062 commentedDo we still want to do this. If so, I can re-roll this against 8.x and get it moving again. Just assign to me if you would still like this in. If not we should close it.
cameron tod commentedI don't see why not, it seems a useful feature and won't have any impact on anything else. You can assign it to yourself if you are happy to work on it.

mbrett5062 commentedRe-rolling against latest 8.x, patch to follow.
mbrett5062 commentedHere is patch for 8.x.
mbrett5062 commentedManually tested, works and does what it says on the box. If bot test comes back clean and someone else can review, I think this can be moved to RTBC.
boombatower commentedThanks for re-rolling.

sunHm. I don't think this addition makes sense.
By moving to PSR-0 classes, we've essentially turned
getInfo()into nonsense. The current test "name" became needless and should be dropped, and the description should take over its place, when/where appropriate.I've started to investigate that in #697760: Replace getInfo() in tests with native phpDoc + annotations (following PHPUnit) already, but wasn't able to get it done yet.
In essence, the current "list" should output the test class names + description (instead of name, because name ceases to exist).

webchickLooks like this still needs discussion.

mbrett5062 commentedSorry, should have dropped this some while ago. I guess a lot has changed since end of 2012, and not able to work on this at the moment. If it's still relevant I hope someone will pick it up.

sunMeanwhile, #697760: Replace getInfo() in tests with native phpDoc + annotations (following PHPUnit) is ready for prime time.
