IMHO, and as dbtng maintainer decided we must depend on the last branch of autoload(anyway we depend on dbtng and it depends on autoload 2.x).

So, here a little patch that removes backward compatibility.

BTW autoload_get_lookup() is defined on 2.x again since http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=447760 so our backwards compatibility is not working anymore.

Works on my system. We still aren't dealing with the fact that there's no way to actually detect if autoload 6.x-1.x is installed, but oh well. Commit away.
