How to lay out View with Semantic as Display Style?

Hi,
Im trying to lay out a view so that the picture is on the left and the info is on the right (using table display or similar), but I also want to use Semantic Views to add some css to the elements. I found a work around, but it's not working in internet explorer - surprise surprise!

Attached is a working pic from firefox - which looks just right, but when the same is loaded in IE the writing is under the icon. I got it working by adding a float: left to the blue icons using semantic views, but IE desnt like it :(

Is there any other way to achieve this 2 column style layout whilst keeping semantic views active?

I have also tryed writing a table directly into a custom field, but then individual elements cant be styled using semantic views...

Maybe I need to theme my view slightly??
