DoceboLMS (E-Learning) module for Drupal 7.x

This module is a bridge between Drupal and DoceboLMS, the open source e-learning platform.

It is in early development stage and at this time can be considered a proof-of-concept.

Once finished this module will provide:

- single sign on between Drupal and Docebo LMS
- user synchronization between the two platforms
- a "my courses" list block for Drupal
- a Drupal block for search the Docebo Content library objects

How it works:
When a user login in Drupal, if this module is enabled and configured, the user will be automatically logged in also in Docebo, using single sign on.

Any new user available on Drupal will be available on Docebo and vice-versa. At the same way editing a user in Drupal will also have it updated in Docebo. We are still evaluating which data can be kept in sync automatically, for example details like the user password, that can't be read as plain text, won't be automatically changed.

Drupal 7.0 RC 1 released (unofficial announcement)

This is not the official announcement, but I notice that Drupal 7.0 Release Candidate 1 is now available:
http://drupal.org/node/985946

(I knew, according to http://drupal.org/drupal-7.0-beta3 it was due out by end of November, so was keeping my eye out).

It looks like webchick was working hard on this and so has not yet had time to do a formal announcement:

// TODO, along with announcement, after some much-needed sleep. :)

Drupal 7.0 RC 1 Released

Release candidateUpdate: Drupal 7.0 Release Candidate 2 is available now!

Following three beta releases, and with tons of bugs fixed and user interface improvements added, we are proud to present to you the first release candidate of Drupal 7.0. Although there are still a few known issues that we are working on fixing, we are confident that our code is stable enough for wider testing by the community. Since the last beta version was released two weeks ago, we have improved styling in the default "Bartik" theme, numerous bug fixes and improvements to the Update Manager and Search module, revisions to both user interface text and developer documentation to be more understandable and accurate, and we've made final clean-ups to some of the architecture improvements added during the release cycle. The deprecated Profile module is now hidden on new sites and we've substituted it with the ability to put user fields added through Field UI on the registration form.

The first alpha announcement provided a comprehensive list of high level improvements made since Drupal 6.x, so in this announcement we'll concentrate on how you can help ensure that Drupal 7 is released as soon as possible and is as rock solid as the previous Drupal releases that you've grown to love!

There are a number of modules already ported to Drupal 7 for your testing pleasure. You can keep tabs on whether or not your site is ready for Drupal 7 by using the Upgrade Status module. If you are a translator, now is the time to start working on your translations. If you are a module or theme maintainer, now is the time to start working on the update to Drupal 7! Read on for more details.

New Drupal Articles on my personal site

I am relatively new to drupal, but I have learnt a lot. I am only too earger to share my knowledge as I acquire them.

So I have written an article, "A Standard Approach to Building a Drupal Website", posted on my personal site http://tonyogbonna.com, detailing the current approach I adopt in building drupal sites of which I have build a few (listed below).
