Bio:

Over the past 15 years Varun has used his enterprise level industry experience to work on Drupal projects for the federal government, individual state agencies as well as for international governments such as those of Jamaica and St. Lucia. He translates business requirements into detailed architectural designs and works closely with business analysts, software developers and development managers to ensure that all solutions are deployed within agreed upon timelines and are properly supported after implementation. In his spare time, he loves to travel and do photography. He designs web services and website architectures based on open standards.

Typically this includes:

Organizing, translating and simplifying technical requirements.
Designing new server infrastructure.
Creating a maintenance redesign lifecycle around server infrastructure.
Test and recommend all server operating systems and related supporting infrastructure software.
Provide IT support for company projects and initiatives.
Authoring functional requirements from client and stakeholder interviews.
Technical requirements management, communication and analysis.
