Backend Drupal engineer based in Kommetjie, on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. 20 years of Drupal - custom modules, APIs, migrations, large-site architecture.

I started out studying actual bugs (BSc Zoology and Entomology) and ended up debugging software instead.

Most of my client work has been with non-profits, including lead-developer work on the Music In Africa portal. Founding member of the Drupal Johannesburg User Group; active in the Cape Town community. I maintain Entity Inspector and contribute to modules I rely on day-to-day.

Drawn to projects with measurable positive environmental impact, and currently exploring where AI tools genuinely help in a developer's workflow.
