Any consideration about building in ajax support ?
It would be great if only the image inside web page would reload.

Perhaps you could work on an integration of thickbox: see http://drupal.org/project/thickbox or perhaps it already works, never tried it.

I am going to close this for now. Someday I will update all of Acidfree to use Ajax. But that is even beyond the scope of v5.0. So don't get your hopes up for this to be implemented any time soon. I agree that a good smooth Ajax UI would be very nice, but unless somebody else writes it and submits a patch, it is still a good couple of years out there.
