As title, can we add 'last updated' info to handbook pages? I think it might be useful for users to get a sense of how current/relevant a page is...

vm commentedShould probably be a feature request against the book.module rather then documentation. Then it could be implemented on all Drupal sites.
vm commentedoops. :) meant against Drupal since it's the book module.

Crell commentedSomewhere in the issue queue there was a expose the modified time and author as well as created time and author to node templates, complete with a UI. I don't recall why it was dropped, but I'd definitely be in favor of bringing it up again if I can find it. :-)

karldied commentedSummary:
issue http://drupal.org/node/62352 - Display 'last modified' date on Drupal handbook pages
issue http://drupal.org/node/81344 - update book contributors to show pages created and revisions created
issue http://drupal.org/node/113213 - Add 'last updated' to handbook pages? (this issue)
So, this issue is a duplicate of 62352, or 62352 is a duplicate of 113213... (which one?)
81344 includes code to update the "Book contributors" view/node.

webchickAlways mark the newer issue a duplicate of the older issue, unless the new issue has something unique the older issue doesn't (like a patch or what have you).
Crell commentedHere's the issue I was referring to: http://drupal.org/node/32036 I suspect it needs to be updated. :-) I am still interested in seeing it go in, though, and it would then offer a solution to all of the issues posted here, I think.
