Hello,
I have installed the Decisions Module and its dependencies, set permissions, and have enabled it but I cannot figure out how to access or use the features it adds. Can someone explain how to use Decisions? The only difference I see is a new "Configure decisions" section (admin/settings/decisions) but I don't figure out where these configurations are to be used.
I've also installed the Advanced Poll module and honestly I can't tell a difference between the two; they both don't seem to add any new features to node/add/poll. Everything looks just like the core Poll system.
I am not the only one bamboozled. Please see: http://drupal.org/node/639824 Version 6.x-1.7 does not include any information on how to use the module in either README.txt or INSTALL.txt.
If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much in advance,
BigMike

On admin/build/modules have you also enabled "Ranking" or "Selection" under the voting fieldset? After you enable one (or both) of those a new content type should appear. Try enabling the "Selection" Module and then go to "Create Content" (node/add) and click Decisions - selection.
That should do it.

BigMike commentedThank you Jordan, now I understand what to do. It would have been great if this was better documented.
The description for the "Decisions" module reads,
An advanced voting module that includes plurarity voting, instant-runoff voting, and electoral lists.which leads me to believe that once enabled, my site will have "plurality voting, instant-runoff voting, and electoral lists." (note "plurarity" is spelled wrong on the module's list page)
The "Ranking" and "Selection" modules say they are decision modes. I don't intrinsically know what a decision mode is. Now that I've struggled with this module, trying to figure it out, yes it now makes clear sense that this is a mode (or better, a type) of the decision module.
Thanks
Mike
