Custom column widths don't accept / preserve non-integer widths. [#1300758]

Another issue is we can not use decimals. But since we don't use pixels but percentage then decimals should work. 33.3% should be a valid width.

Agreed. Patch attached to fix it; needs testing since I don't have a 6.x environment up at the moment.
