I am not sure if the mentioned module is active and maintained
As far as I can see it is installed on few sites and last updated two years ago

Not sure if this is a good idea to add any links

There is that... But certainly there should be some mention if only in the issue queue for related modules.

At this point the block_submit module is deprecated in favor of this one and links to this one. I think this issue doesn't make sense to do and we should consider the overall situation fixed even if this task wasn't done exactly in the way originally stated.
