I have "Published in Ara Taiohi newsletter" showing on for example a page or other nodes that I have previously selected for newsletter content using the Simplenews Content Selection module. You can have a look at the panel "Our Goals" on our (not yet live) website to see what I'm talking about.

How can I suppress this "published in" message?

Cheers
Ron

It's a link that seems to be added for taxonomy terms. I don't think there is any link with Simplenews or Simplenews Content Selection. So it highly depends on your site setup.

Thanks Simon. I'm not sure what to do next unfortunately as I'm not a Drupal expert.. It seems similar to pages showing "Submitted by", which you can obviously suppress through the theme global settings, but I've also seen posts about modifying the page template, so perhaps something along those lines?

I wonder if you've seen my other post, which may be related? http://drupal.org/node/1373722

Your help is much appreciated!

Even if you uncheck them as Simplenews content type, as they are associated with the taxonomy term, the mention will continue to appear. Again, this is not related to Simplenews. You may try to remove the taxonomy association of the content, but depending on how the site was built, there could be different ways to achieve it. I would need acces to the website to determine how exactly.
By the way, the 6.x-2.x version of Simplenews is much more stable than the 6.x-1.x.
