Description

It would be nice to provide access to the administration page for menus for a stp role without 'administer menus' permissions. This would let them use the admin page but only enable the menus/submenus they have permission to edit.

The challenge for stp roles without administer menus permissions is that they have to visit individual menu items to configure a menu (e.g. re-assign weight). Having access to the entire menu/submenu they have permission for in one place would make menu maintenance easier.

This may be a difficult task to accomplish. Personally, I think this module is useful enough to become part of the core menu module, which would likely make this feature request easier to implement.

I gave this a quick try some time ago and failed. Haven't yet managed to find enough time to try again :-(
And I personally also think that functionality encompassing this module and the Menu per Role module should get into the main menu module sometime ... feel free to ask the maintainer of the menu module about that ;-)
