I can not add menu item when creating content (page , story) . When creating content I set the Menu settings, but after submiting the content no new menu item is shown. The same behaviour is observed for submiting the content in any language and it started when i18n moduls were instaled.

Damjan Dvorsek commentedAnother thing that I found out is that for content types that are not internationalized the menu item can be added to the menu.

tambetm commentedI can confirm this bug and that it appears after installing i18n. Workaround: go to content Edit form, in menu block click on link "edit the advanced settings" and save the menu item. I suspect this corrects the missing language setting, which allows it to be shown in menu.

Damjan Dvorsek commentedThanks, your workaround is more practical than the one I use, where I first needed to turn off multilingual support of a content type, then create the content and the menu item and the same with translated content. At the end I turn the multilingual support on and connect the content and the translated content via translation.
I think this very bad and annoying bug since it affects the basic use of the i18n module.

soupp commentedThe same problem. I'd promote the issue to critical.

Jo Wouters commentedI was not able to reproduce this issue, using the most recent (cvs) version of i18n.
Did you try to use the latest (cvs) version ?

jose reyero commentedYes, this is a duplicate, and, as the other issue says, this is fixed in the development version
