How to create multiple selection polls and comment.

the default poll is just one selection answer and can't comment on the poll. any idea how to do it?

There are polling modules in contrib: see http://drupal.org/project/decisions & http://drupal.org/project/advpoll

Also of note, I'd receheck all poll settings, and poll nodes. I'm under the impression that polls can indeed be commented on.

thank, i just found this http://drupal.org/project/decisions was useful.
but i have some problem regarding permission. the poll only can vote by user login.
how to open it to public?

i have try enable all poll module and votingapi module permission but still same.

check permissions for the anon user role in administer -> permissions
