Hi: I have several postgis layers which I would like to upload. From the examples on the documentation is not clear to me how this can be achieved. Would it be possible to have a tutorial on how to do this?

Sorry, right now we don't have time to write a tutorial on how to do this, maybe later. In the meantime try to use the Data module. It should be fairly straightforward to adopt your PostGIS layers in Cartaro this way.

Another option is the Feeds module. You would need to export your PostGIS data into a Feeds compatible format and import them using Feeds importer.
