so the user is warned and when (s)he spams again, risk of losing account and data. postponing now, closing in 1 month or so (December 2007)

I am going to contact this user and chat with them on the phone before we block the account or start unpublishing their content.

Here's the email I sent. Notice, no threats and no rash actions such as demoting privileges, unpublishing, etc.....

Steve got back to me within minutes, despite being on vacation. He's stopped posting until we get a chance to catch up on the phone. He's eager to work with the Drupal community and abide by the rules.

We are going to chat when he gets back from vacation and try to work something out, so everyone's happy.
