All of these posts are after November 18, when the OP indicated that the "point was taken"

Really, it's just about every post from his tracker. I looked through most of the posts made by this user looking for something that actually contributed knowledge to the community, but had no luck.
Time to notify the user/block the account.
Amazon commentedI am going to contact this user and chat with them on the phone before we block the account or start unpublishing their content.
Amazon commentedHere's the email I sent. Notice, no threats and no rash actions such as demoting privileges, unpublishing, etc.....
Amazon (http://drupal.org/user/18703) has sent you a message via your
contact form (http://drupal.org/user/206741/contact) at drupal.org.
If you don't want to receive such e-mails, you can change your settings at
http://drupal.org/user/206741.
Message:
Hello, several members of the community have repeatedly asked you to tone
back the amount of posting to the Drupal.org/hosting forum.
It's clear you are not playing nicely. I'd like to talk to you and
encourage you to keep in line with community norms.
How can I reach you to talk on the phone?
Kieran

Amazon commentedSteve got back to me within minutes, despite being on vacation. He's stopped posting until we get a chance to catch up on the phone. He's eager to work with the Drupal community and abide by the rules.
We are going to chat when he gets back from vacation and try to work something out, so everyone's happy.
Cheers,
Kieran

bonobo commentedThanks for the update, and for taking care of this in such a diplomatic way.
Amazon commentedIn the end they started spamming again. Steve is banned permanently.
