Will this module end up being a full project or be rolled into the collapse text module.

The way it seems to be most times is that WYSIWYG support ends up in the input filter module itself.

Hi rooby,

Thanks you very much for your interest for this module, support and for posting this issue.

The way it seems to be most times is that WYSIWYG support ends up in the input filter module itself.

I would definitely agree and to try to keep things moving forward, I directly followed up at #1793108-10: Filter integration with wysiwyg, with a patch to try to merge this feature with the Collapse Text module.
(See #10, collapse_text-filter-integration-wysiwyg-ckeditor-1793108-10.patch)

In an ideal world, initially I never intended to move out this code from sandbox and I had hoped promoting it as full project/module would never be part of the plan.
If you refer to module's project page:

Perhaps one day (hopefully), this module's feature will be merged with the collapse_text module and be automatically enabled if the wysiwyg module is installed... but this would have to be discussed with collapse_text maintainers, see: #1793108: Filter integration with wysiwyg

I think we should try to get Collapse Text's maintainers attention and at least get some feedback on this feature request.

Therefore, we would greatly appreciate if you could potentially help us by supporting this initiative and posting a comment, feedback, review or giving your opinion on the corresponding feature request at #1793108: Filter integration with wysiwyg.

As a side note:
If we really couldn't get any feedback from maintainers after a few weeks, we might as well be able to apply for co-maintainership, as stated by Dealing with unsupported (abandoned) projects.

Feel free to let me know if you would have any further questions, comments, objections, recommendations, suggestions or concerns on any aspects of my reply, this ticket or #1793108: Filter integration with wysiwyg, I would surely be glad to provide more information or explain in further details.

Any feedback, comments, testing, reviews, questions, suggestions, recommendations or objections would certainly be highly appreciated.
Thanks very much to all in advance for your support on this feature.
Cheers!

Alright guys!

This is probably the last comment I will be posting in this issue queue, since this sandbox module and feature has finally been merged with the Collapse Text module.

Collapse Text Wysiwyg's project page and status have been updated to let everybody know of the merge with Collapse Text and that no more developments would take place in the sandbox.
Issues submission guidelines have also been updated to try reminding everyone that development has moved to Collapse Text's (with component Wysiwyg) and ideally have any new issues related with Wysiwyg integration posted with the Wysiwyg component.

We still have more work to follow-up with in the Collapse Text module and hope to get support from the community for any future developments, testing/reporting, reviewing or documentation.

Once again, thanks very much to all the contributors without whose help, testing, reporting and feedback, it wouldn't have been possible to have Collapse Text Wysiwyg merged in such a state of maturity.
Cheers!
