We use a VNC reflector for our live Dojo lessons. webavant has amazingly been donating this service to the Dojo since the Dojo began pretty much. We should look at the needs for the VNC reflector, see if it can be improved and also come up with a plan to have at least one backup in place. Through this process we can also get some nice detailed documentation on how this can be set up.

gusaus commentedChris Charlton was kind enough to pass on a trial version on this product:

Took me a few minutes to realize that it has everything we need!

While this is a commercial solution, possibly (in association w/ the association) we could secure a discounted rate and/or fund via donations, advertising, or sponsorships.

gusaus commentedNice one, chris! Being this is 'open source' there may be some cool ways to integrate (and a bit less costly...heh) -

gusaus commentedDetermining an ideal solution is one of the key elements to bringing the Dojo back to life. This thread identifies a few potential solutions - http://groups.drupal.org/node/12994 - We will analyze/assess each and integrate the best back here --> http://drupal.org/node/205646

gusaus commentedAfter a personalized demo, the Dojo decided Dimdim (http://www.dimdim.com/) would be the best solution for our immediate needs. Better yet, the community chipped-in for a 100-seat-capable professional account!
