Description

Task description

There are several Drupal modules which claim to deal with project management à la basecamp. Note that the Project module is software specific and is not concerned by this task.
It can be quite confusing for new users to decide which modules to pick, and which modules offer which features. A Project Management site recipe could be added to the site recipes handbook page, covering the following questions:

1) List the various Drupal modules dealing with Project Management. Which features do they offer? What are the strength and weaknesses of each module? Recommend which module to use, or which module to avoid.
2) Which features are missing in these modules?
3) Research other modules which can be useful in the context of Project Management.
4) Optional - useful for future development: from what you have learnt in the questions above, what is the future of Project Management in Drupal? How can CCK and Views improve the current modules and give a greater flexibility to the user? Which module is the most promising, and could be used as a base to build the best Project Management module for Drupal?

Deliverable

A handbook page in the site recipes explaining the different ways to build a Project Management website. This page will be reviewed by at least one member of the documentation team.

We've had some not so great experiences with tasks like this that involve comparing different modules and which do not have clear measures by which the modules can be compared. It ends up being rather subjective in a lot of ways, and difficult to judge.

I'm setting this as won't fix based on the proposal as it is now.

However, if you wanted the task to be a site creation recipe using a specified module or modules, that would be ok. I'd like to see fairly specific goals, and an idea of what kind of site the recipe should be for (so, in this case, maybe a site that can be used to track X type of project).
