kbahey commentedAlias this http://drupal.org/node/221374 to "press/drupal-6.0/en"
fgmHere is the french translation I just did, for review. It's actually HTML, but d.o. doesn't allow HTML attachments.
kbahey commentedComment #1 is wrong.
This URL http://drupal.org/node/221374 should be aliased to "press/drupal-6.0/ar" (Arabic, not English).
Amazon commentedhttp://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/en
Please review. Note there was a title change.
Amazon commentedI am getting these in the French HTML:
Aprs plus d'un an de dveloppement, nous sommes enfin prts rvler
Could you please review?
sutharsan commentedAttached Dutch PR.
fgmMust be an encoding issue: when I click on the file in my browser, it appears normally in all 3 browsers. The file is in ISO-8859-15, not UTF-8.
yhager commentedHebrew translation
Comment #9
robertgarrigos commentedCatalan translation. It's an html document in utf-8
Comment #10
scor commentedthe french translation fgm sent is the annoucement (http://drupal.org/drupal-6.0), but not the press release (http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/en). I'm contacting millette to see how far we are.

Amazon commentedhttp://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/es now works. Please confirm it was reviewed by a peer.
Amazon commentedhttp://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/de looks like some characters didn't convert properly.
Amazon commentedRobert, please confirm that all the characters will work per the statements below.
Amazon commentedYhager, please click on the file and ensure that's what I need to cut and paste into the body. Please add the title as well.
Thanks,
Kieran
Comment #19
yhager commented@Amazon: The title is enclosed within the <h1> tags in the file.
Just make sure to have the dir="rtl" in the body for proper alignment.

jose reyero commented#15 > http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/es now works. Please confirm it was reviewed by a peer.
Yes, it has been reviewed by Martin Gersbach
Btw, I've just added the quote at the bottom which was missing.
Devis commentedI have the Italian (IT) localization, how can I publish ? Thanks
Comment #22
robertgarrigos commented@sutharsan: my #9 it's ok if you use utf-8 encoding
Comment #23
robertgarrigos commentedJose Reyero created a page for me on http://drupal.org/node/222176 for the catalan translation.
could someone create the alias http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/ca to that page, please?
thanks
Comment #24
Amazon commentedHello, I am getting hit with a perfect storm of Drupal stuff.
I have conference guide and conference sign print deadlines for the Drupalcon sponsorships, I have the session picking deadlines for Drupalcon, and I've got financial deadlines to get all the sponsorships paid so we have the cash to pay approximately $225 000 in pending bills for Drupalcon.
If one of the 93 other Drupal.org maintainers could step forward and help get these press releases posted that would be greatly appreciated.
Kieran
Comment #25
sepeck commentedcomment #23 is addressed.
webchicksubscribe.
webchickhttp://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/ar and http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/he are live.
yhager commented@webchick: Thanks for putting up the Hebrew version.
Can you add 'dir=rtl' like in the arabic version at http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/ar ?
yhager commentedOh.. you just did.. thanks :)
yhager commentedStill, there are too many <br /> around the bulleted lists, see if you can handle that (they did not appear in the file I attached to comment #8 above.
Devis commentedItalian translation attached here.
Authors: Devis Lucato, Fabrizio Giardina, Fabio alias TheCrow
Comment #32
AjK commented#31 Italian translation here: http://drupal.org/node/222349
Alias http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/it requires adding after proofing.
sepeck commented#32 aliased.
Proofread? I can barely proofread English.
webchickSorry about that, yhager ... could you check again? http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/he
Comment #35
johnnocCorrection in the url aliasing for the norwegian language. The norwegian Drupal community is trying to deprecate the "no" language code in favor of "nb" for Norwegian Bokmål and "nn" for Norwegian Nynorsk.
The translator and the reviewer of the norwegian press release are working on the Norwegian Bokmål translation, and the correct language code is nb. So when it gets finished, the correct url alias should be:
Norwegian - http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/nb
Comment #36
pwolanin commentedA simple-minded suggestion: these paths don't exist:
http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0
http://drupal.org/press
It seems like having at least simple place-holder pages there would be nice, or better yet a manual or coded list of content.
yhager commented@webchick: the Hebrew translation looks fine now. Thanks!
fgmHere is the translation of the press release too. Like the announcement, it is an XHTML fragment, with a txt extension to be allowed as an attachment.
stenjo commentedAttached you will find the Norwegian Bokmål translation.
Please make sure it is aliased at http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/nb (not -/no)
scor commented@fgm: elv and I will review the french translation. Thanks.
AjK commented#39 Found at http://drupal.org/node/222523
Alias required.
scor commentedfrench translation reviewed by elv and myself (UTF8).
AjK commented#42 French translation has the post body. Can we have a title also please?
webchickhttp://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/nb taken care of. There's all kinds of gobbeldygook in the attached French translation. Can someone clean that up?
I agree with pwolanin in #36. I made a simple top-level book page at http://drupal.org/press, and added a child page for the Drupal 6.0 press release at http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0 which contains links to the existing ones. I prefaced each bullet point with the native name of the language according to Wikipedia. Please feel free to update if it's not correct.
Btw. yu, hz, eo, fr, gu, hi, ja, no, pt, and sv are all dead links atm.
scor commented@AjK: Sortie de Drupal 6.0 - simplicité, performances et style accrus pour cette plateforme de publication sociale Open Source
Comment #46
Amazon commentedI want to thank everyone who stepped forward to help with this thread. It's greatly appreciated and allowed me to get a lot of other urgent things done.
Kieran
Comment #47
AjK commented@scor: thanks for the title but like Webchick notes, there's a lot of characters in the text file on #42 that either my computer can't read or are garbled in the text file.
fgmI just checked and did a few additional fixes on the text from #42. Here is a new version. You may want to make sure your text editor uses the proper encoding. This file is in UTF-8, not US-ASCII.
narres commentedYou should toggle browsers charset between UTF and ISO8859-1
Comment #50
webchickAwesome, thanks narres. http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/fr is live.
Devis commented#32 can you explain what's wrong ? thanks
Comment #52
Devis commented[sorry I edited the issue title, now is ok]
Here is a better translation thanks to Fabio.
AjK commented#52 alterations applied.
fabianvontiedemann commentedAttached Swedish PR
Comment #55
AjK commentedfor #54 : http://drupal.org/node/224291
Needs to be aliased to http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/se
Note, the original issue says:-
but sv is El Salvador and se is Sweden ??
zoo33 commentedNot sure, but we're using sv for the interface translation: http://drupal.org/project/sv
Also, I found this at Wikipedia:
zoo33 commentedFurther investigation shows that "se" is the country code for Sweden while "sv" is the language code for Swedish. (El Salvadorians speak Spanish BTW so I don't think they have a separate language code.)
Let's use http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/sv
Comment #58
DrupalValueHosting commentedNeeds to be aliased to:
http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/hi
It shows only if Hindi fonts are installed on the machine.. One is provided in the zip file.
More info here:
http://www.hindilearner.com/hindi_font.html

AjK commentedPlease don't change the title of the issue.
dokumori commentedHere's the Japanese translation in UTF-8.
zet commentedPlease Alias http://drupal.org/node/226145 to http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/ro for Romanian translation
PS : Pls consider ROMANIA too as an existing country.
sutharsan commentedre. #55 - #57: I can confirm what zoo33 writes, with a small remark that Drupal 6 follows RFC 4646. You can find a listing of language codes here: http://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry. code = sv
Comment #63
sutharsan commentedre. #58: DrupalValueHosting, is it not possible to have a UTF8 version of the text?
morfeas commentedPlease Alias http://drupal.org/node/227691 to http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/el for the Greek translation. There seems to be a limit in the characters of the node title, cutting out the last word (δημοσίευσης). If someone can check it out from the attached text file?
On a sidenote, the quote from CashkeepersCanada.com at the end of the press release seems a bit out of place, considering that the website is just a phpBB forum now. I guess its too late to update it now...
zoo33 commentedJust a friendly reminder that that the Swedish, Hindi, Japanese, Romanian and Greek translations still need to be aliased.
gerhard killesreiter commentedGreek, Romanian, Swedish done. However I used /se for Swedish, should it have been /sv?
AjK commentedPage for #60 :-
http://drupal.org/node/236235
Path alias required.
zoo33 commentedI'm afraid so. Thanks.
zet commentedSomethings wrong with the links above. In view mode romanian link is wrong, but displayed on the page where i posted this reply is ok. Very strange. Try clicking on Romanian link above and tell us if is going where it should go ( -> http://drupal.org/node/221296#comment-744513 ).
later edit: this was a reply to post #65 ( http://drupal.org/node/221296#comment-772181 ). Don't know why is published here down bellow and not bellow that post #65.
charlesc commentedohoh.. We have a complete translation about Drupal 6 release at http://drupaltaiwan.org/drupal-6.0
