Hello, I am getting hit with a perfect storm of Drupal stuff.

I have conference guide and conference sign print deadlines for the Drupalcon sponsorships, I have the session picking deadlines for Drupalcon, and I've got financial deadlines to get all the sponsorships paid so we have the cash to pay approximately $225 000 in pending bills for Drupalcon.

If one of the 93 other Drupal.org maintainers could step forward and help get these press releases posted that would be greatly appreciated.

Correction in the url aliasing for the norwegian language. The norwegian Drupal community is trying to deprecate the "no" language code in favor of "nb" for Norwegian Bokmål and "nn" for Norwegian Nynorsk.

The translator and the reviewer of the norwegian press release are working on the Norwegian Bokmål translation, and the correct language code is nb. So when it gets finished, the correct url alias should be:

Norwegian - http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/nb

#36

A simple-minded suggestion: these paths don't exist:

http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0

http://drupal.org/press

It seems like having at least simple place-holder pages there would be nice, or better yet a manual or coded list of content.

#44

webchick - February 16, 2008 - 16:44

http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/nb taken care of. There's all kinds of gobbeldygook in the attached French translation. Can someone clean that up?

I agree with pwolanin in #36. I made a simple top-level book page at http://drupal.org/press, and added a child page for the Drupal 6.0 press release at http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0 which contains links to the existing ones. I prefaced each bullet point with the native name of the language according to Wikipedia. Please feel free to update if it's not correct.

Btw. yu, hz, eo, fr, gu, hi, ja, no, pt, and sv are all dead links atm.

@scor: thanks for the title but like Webchick notes, there's a lot of characters in the text file on #42 that either my computer can't read or are garbled in the text file.

#48

fgm - February 16, 2008 - 17:57

I just checked and did a few additional fixes on the text from #42. Here is a new version. You may want to make sure your text editor uses the proper encoding. This file is in UTF-8, not US-ASCII.

You should toggle browsers charset between UTF and ISO8859-1

<ul>

  </ul>

Not sure, but we're using sv for the interface translation: http://drupal.org/project/sv

Also, I found this at Wikipedia:

ISO 639-1: sv
ISO 639-2: swe
ISO 639-3: swe

Further investigation shows that "se" is the country code for Sweden while "sv" is the language code for Swedish. (El Salvadorians speak Spanish BTW so I don't think they have a separate language code.)

Let's use http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/sv

Please Alias http://drupal.org/node/227691 to http://drupal.org/press/drupal-6.0/el for the Greek translation. There seems to be a limit in the characters of the node title, cutting out the last word (δημοσίευσης). If someone can check it out from the attached text file?

On a sidenote, the quote from CashkeepersCanada.com at the end of the press release seems a bit out of place, considering that the website is just a phpBB forum now. I guess its too late to update it now...
