Hi, I have more than 20 CCK types on my site.
Today I have decided to change the widget configuration of my five star widget. I have to edit once by once, each node type.

It would be very pleasant if there was a batch edit interface where an site admin can set the options he wants and then apply them on each Node types he wants by selecting the corresponding check boxes.

With this feature we will keep the flexibility of having different options for each node type and at the same time gain the power and the simplicity of batch edit operations.

By the way, the need for this kind of batch edit interface is not specific to five star.

Is there other people who agree with this need of batch administration ?

This could be a better solution than "universal configuration", suggested in this thread: http://drupal.org/node/206871. Batch operations would be able to reuse the existing form and submit handlers with little change, just a set of checkboxes that let's you choose which types you want to change. Anyway, it's a good suggestion but I don't know if I'll have time to implement it in the foreseeable future.

Marked http://drupal.org/node/206871 as duplicate. I'd rather implement this solution as I think it will cause less confusion than global configuration.

I'm not going to implement this, but patches are welcome.

The 7.x version is moving tours axis specific configuration so this won't really be a problem.
