This release of Flag 2.x for Drupal 7 fixes several major, long-standing bugs in the Flag module. Upgrading is recommended for all users of Flag 2.x. It's important to note that the Activity integration has been moved back into the Activity project instead of being bundled with Flag. Users of Activity module should upgrade that module at the same time as Flag.
For users of the Rules module, this release also finally includes the D7 port of the Rules integration.
Bug fixes:
#658400 by dragonwise: Rollback patch that caused a bug in the Is Flagged exposed filter when using the "Any" filter.
#1191064: Always include actions (so that VBO can use it).
#1136248: Update hook_field_extra_fields() for ordering Flag fieldset on forms.
This release of Flag 2.x for Drupal 6 fixes several long-standing bugs in the Flag module. Upgrading is recommended for all users of Flag 2.x. No new major features have been introduced in this release, but it's important to note that the Activity integration has been moved back into the Activity project instead of being bundled with Flag. Beta4 contains bug-fixes and some code-cleanup. Upgrading to beta4 is recommended for all users of the 2.0 version of Flag.
IMPORTANT:
Because of API change in Drupal's core, which was committed after the release of Drupal's beta 3, this version of Flag is compatible only with Drupal's beta 3 or older.
If you're using newer verisons of Drupal (e.g., the current 'dev'), you'll have to use the 'dev' version of Flag as well.
- You have to use a version of Drupal newer than BETA-3 (because an API change in Drupal's core was introduced right after its release). Drupal 'dev' is OK. (If you have to use Drupal BETA-3, you'll have to use Flag BETA-4.)
- You have to use Views from 2010-Oct-1 onward (Here's why)
Initial release of Flag module for Drupal 7. It should be feature-equivalent as possible with beta 3 for Drupal 6, minus integrations with other 3rd party modules that do not yet have Drupal 7 versions (such as Rules, Services, or Activity).
This is a minor release of Flag, correcting issues discovered after the release of 1.2 and keeping up with API changes in 3rd party modules like Views.
The beta3 version of Flag 2.0 makes numerous stability and performance improvements from the beta2 version. It is also the branch point for Drupal 7 development which has now begun. Upgrading to beta3 is recommended for all users of the 2.0 version of Flag.
This version of Flag corrects several issues that were discovered in Flag 2.0 after the first beta release. It also adds compatibility with Views 3 (Views 2 continues to work fine also).
(This release is identical to 1.0 release, there was a mishap with the Drupal 5 version of 1.0 containing the Drupal 6 module. This release is just to make version numbers match).
The 1.1 release of Flag module. Note: The 1.0 version for Drupal 5 somehow included the Drupal 6 version of the module. The 1.1 and 1.0 versions are identical.
Even though it's not recommended to include new features after a release candidate, we've included Rules integration in the 1.0 release by popular demand.
Important note: this version removes most of the default views provided by earlier versions of Flag module. If you'd like to preserve the default views provided by Flag, run update.php immediately after upgrading. This upgrade does not affect any views you have created yourself. See http://drupal.org/node/333984 for details of the removed views.
If you've themed your Flags, be absolutely sure to update your code or .tpl.php files to use two dashes instead of one.

This version of Flag module makes drastic improvements and fixes major bugs since the Drupal 5 beta 4 release (beta 5 was only available shortly for Drupal 5 due to a bug in the upgrade path).
Important upgrade notes: If you've overridden flag.tpl.php in your theme, you MUST delete the following line from the .tpl.php file in your theme:
flag_add_extra_js();
This function no longer exists, nor is it needed. If you have not overridden the default flag.tpl.php file, no change is necessary.
This beta release provides several feature enhancements, API changes, and bug fixes. It also provides compatibility with the Drupal 6 version of Views 2, RC2 and higher.
