your attached de.po of imce is not completely localized. But, my version is completely localized.

"link" is "Verweis" in German and there are much more issues... please read the German dictionary and see how double quotes must be converted in German translations. http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/translations/de/INT...

EDIT: Mit Satzzeichen habt ihr es auch nicht so... :-) Hier noch ein paar Beispiele:

"Aktivieren wenn Sie möchten das IMCE absolute Datei-URL's verwendet." -> "Aktivieren, wenn IMCE absolute Datei-URL's verwenden soll."

"n/a" -> "n/v"

"Auf 0 setzen um den maximal verfügbaren Wert zu nutzen." -> "setzen" sollte in "einstellen" oder ähnliches geändert werden.. dabei muss der Satzbau aber etwas angepasst werden.

"Ihre PHP-Einstellungen erlauben %size Dateigröße je Upload." -> "Die PHP-Einstellungen begrenzen die maximale Dateigröße pro Upload auf %size." - aber Upload ist auch nicht ganz optimal...

"Prefix" ist im D6 core als "Präfix" übersetzt.

PS: "Ihr" oder "Sie" vermeiden... siehe Anleitung.

I'm happy that somebody else is not so happy with this translation and with too many english expressions in german translations, too (see http://www.drupal-center.de/node/10722), although I think especially about 'link' that it could be 'translated' to 'Link' (http://www.duden.de/duden-suche/werke/fx/001/008/Link.1008960.html).

The following words in the DICTIONARY should be changed in my opinion: in the german translation (http://www.drupal-center.de/forum/21) forum I read before that 'node' has always to be translated to 'Beitrag'.

In my opinion, the DICTIONARY should be completed by the following words:
thumbnail >> Miniaturansicht
preview >> Vorschau
inline >> ???
request >> Antrag

Also, I'm not very happy about translating 'user profile' as 'Benutzerprofil', the drupal user interface says 'Konto', doesn't it?

Finally, the dictionary should be positioned on a more noticeable place to be found for every one who is about to translate.

Take a look to the kkaefer server... and search. Some things are going to be changed... i'm with you with "link", but until we have a consense we should follow the dictionary only.

I currently did not find the dictionary on kkaefer's server. But the dictionary under http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/translations/de/DIC... (the link you mentioned, a little changed) offers a dictionary that looks much like the one I recently saw with kkaefer. I would like continue the special case 'request' for the og module with you under http://drupal.org/node/274380...

It's not a translation issue, but a module issue and therefore a context sensitive string that is buggy

Tastaturkürzel für gewählte Dateien: Enter/Einfg, Entf, R(Größe ändern), T(humbnail's), U(pload). -> "Enter", "T(humbnail's)" is not German

I would first correct the module string bugs and then work out the above issues...
