GoMom.com - Networking Site for Moms
Gorton Studios would like to announce the launch of GoMom.com as a Drupal site. GoMom is a social networking site that bills itself as "the discussion forum for women".
The site is a mix of discussions, blogs and photos and uses many of Drupal's well-established contrib social-networking modules, including: Bio, Comment Info, Feedburner, Flag Content, Forward, LoginToboggan, Notify, Similar By Terms, Tagadelic, Vote up/down Package and Voting API among others.
Giving Back to Drupal
As an organization, Gorton Studios is committed to giving back to Drupal with time, code and money. Among our contributions over the course of this project were a major overhaul of the MailChimp module (for email newsletter integration) as well as our continued commitment to donate at least 1% of project budget back to Drupal.

Site looks great! The only thing I have to add is that I had my wife check it out, and she did mess around with it for a while. After words she commented how she wished the front page would explain a little bit about the site, and what it's purpose is, and why she should want to be on it.

We're actually the people who were hired to design and build it. The design was done by Erika Stenrick (and I agree - she does a fabulous job of identifying the right look for the project), and the build was done by a combination of Ronan Dowling and Denise Beyer.
So - if you're looking for recommendations on who to hire for this sort of work, we know some good people!
