Description
I'm looking for Glossary solutions and G2's approach looks a lot more appealing to me than the Glossary module, but I'm running D6 and G2 is only in the dev snapshot phase for D6. What is in the way of getting G2 released for D6, I'm speaking of both bugs and procedure, how close are we and what would it take to accomplish this?

There has been disagreement about the best way to solve some issues since april 2008. I had hoped to finally resolve them at Drupalcon DC, so we could hope to see new releases for all branches of G2 at that time, but I just learnt DrupalconDC is sold out :-( I'll still try to spend a few days on my contrib modules during that time frame, though, so all hope is not lost.

Where can I see what those issues were? can you provide links to them?

fgm, I'm really happy to hear that you'll have some time available to focus on G2. We're considering whether to us G2 to support a glossary of IT terminology at dzone.com, but the age of the latest dev releases for 6.x was a bit scary. It would be excellent if you got G2 to a point where you felt it should be considered an official 6.x release. Bon courage!

I'm wondering the same thing :)
Is there anything you need help with?
#5
Well, mostly time. If you could provide me with more than 24 hours on each day, things would get faster :-)
(or sponsoring, of course)

helping with the development is what I had in mind mostly :)

likewise, i'm considering using this module and want to know what specific issues need resolving to see this module come to light for D6.
fgm, are you able to answer the question in #2 above?
it sounds like you've got a few people interested in making contributions here, but we're unsure how best we can support you.

Xurizaemon, I've already answered in #5, although I'll admit this isn't very helpful.
