Twitter just released a new feature on their API pages - http://apiwiki.twitter.com/Sign-in-with-Twitter
Basically this allows you to log in to other web sites using your Twitter credentials.
I'd love to know if any Drupal developers plan to implement this as a module to allow log in to Drupal sites. I'm not sure how secure/stable it is, but I can see there will definitely be some people, myself included that would benefit from a module that utilises this.
Thanks,
Alex

OAuth
Twitter's API is based on OAuth. There already is a Drupal implementation:

From the Twitter announcement, it looks like they have an alternative/enhancement that further streamlines the experience for the user. I'd suggest that you post a feature request issue to the OAuth issue queue.

Great, it seems to be working, returning to my site with an Oauth number etc. but how should I be configuring this feature with other modules (i.e. Web Services module?) To get people actually logged in or have an account automatically created with details from their Twitter profile?
Thanks,
Alex

Thanks. I've been trying your module out in a dev environment. Have you reached out to the Twitter module maintainers about using it in their 6.3 release? They have something in the works along these lines, but not sure if there's been much progress lately.
