On some tasks, we have the requirement that multiple people provide input, so it would be quite useful if Casetracker had the ability to assign a case to more than one user.

I realise that this would require some table redesign, etc....so just putting it out there for now.

I don't think casetracker will ever allow for assigning a task to multiple users at once. The idea of ticketing we're trying to capture is centered around responsibility for a task, I'm not going to dilute that by baking into the module the capacity for many people to be sorta responsible and no clear point person who is and who can next advance the task.

Perhaps you should look about building something on top of casetracker that links the case state and who a ticket can and assigned too. This would represent a significant amount of coding, but is certainly possible.

How about the idea that as an administrator I have a task that I want multiple people to do. For example, I could have a task for students to complete their reading.

I create the task once, but I want to assign it to each student and have each student update their own reading task.

I have this exact same need. Perhaps duplicating tasks and makeing them reuseable?
