Description

I have numerous albums created, they were working fine until a recent update from 6.10 -> 6.12.
Now I can see the Album names and thumbnails on the front-page block, however when I click on the album there are no pictures displayed!!
How can I identify the issue and fix it without having to recreate all albums again?!!

thanks!

OK, since I am getting no replies; if I uninstall this module and install it again, will I loose my albums and photos already there?

OK, what other modules can I choose to get a nice-looking photo-album with no bugs and proven record?

You shouldn't lose anything. The information is saved in your dbase. Deleting the module will do nothing - unless you click "update dbase." That might delete any associated content. I don't know of another album.

Thanks for the reply, but since I didn't get any suggestions on-time I had to do the whole photos section again. It was two weeks of pain and lost comments and other descriptions. Wasn't a good experience and support...

What did you end up doing or using? I'm working through the same issue.

I figured out my problem! Album Photo's requires upload in the core module. For some reason, when I went to Modules, Upload was not there. And Album Photos was telling me that Upload was missing. I re-downloaded drupal 6-13, and deleted upload from my folder using FTP. Then I re-uploaded just the Upload module. Bingo! upload was among the modules. Then I unchecked Album photos. Saved config. Went back to upload, and I checked it to enable it. saved. Then went and re-checked (enabled) Album Photos. Now we're back to work! Something must have happened when I upgraded drupal last month to the 6-13. I suspect I'm not the only one.

I changed the way I am using the albums. Currently I am using Album Photos with dfgallery, LightBox 2 and Image module integration.
For the upload, am using IMCE browser which is a fantastic image upload and manipulation module.
