maybe this is more a devel themer issue, as i am used to have it break javascript ui stuff ;)

when enabling devel themer, the admin-2 navigation in the rubik theme doesn't work anymore, nor does the devel themer button show up.

Cool, will take a look.

I can confirm this. I think the "devel themer button" would be great if it was shown as a tab in the Admin module and instead of the current floating Devel Themer display it on this tab.

#639626 says it's duplicate of this...

Just spent almost an hour trying to get back my 'Administer' section of the Admin menu!!! Found out it was just Theme Developer that caused the problem.

This is not a theme-specific problem.

I have yet to use devel themer and it and it not break something. It injects a span around almost every element! It is best to only enable it when needed during development.

I've just posted a bug report about breaking Admin menus in Drupal 7 (!) to devel_themer issues queue: http://drupal.org/node/1025380
Take a look, maybe we can handle it correctly, escaping our menus somehow for example?

P.S. I don't change Version of this issue from 6.x to 7.x, since I ain't sure the reasons are common.

subscribe. Seeing the same thing; this version of Admin and devel_themer 6.x-1.x-dev.

I wonder what the options are for fixing this...
