maybe this is more a devel themer issue, as i am used to have it break javascript ui stuff ;)
when enabling devel themer, the admin-2 navigation in the rubik theme doesn't work anymore, nor does the devel themer button show up.

yhahn commentedCool, will take a look.
SeanBannister commentedI can confirm this. I think the "devel themer button" would be great if it was shown as a tab in the Admin module and instead of the current floating Devel Themer display it on this tab.
realityloop commentedDuplicate of #639626: a.parentNode is NULL when theme developer is enabled.
MrVictor commented#639626 says it's duplicate of this...
Just spent almost an hour trying to get back my 'Administer' section of the Admin menu!!! Found out it was just Theme Developer that caused the problem.
This is not a theme-specific problem.
ndwilliams3 commentedI have yet to use devel themer and it and it not break something. It injects a span around almost every element! It is best to only enable it when needed during development.
OnkelTem commentedI've just posted a bug report about breaking Admin menus in Drupal 7 (!) to devel_themer issues queue: http://drupal.org/node/1025380
Take a look, maybe we can handle it correctly, escaping our menus somehow for example?
P.S. I don't change Version of this issue from 6.x to 7.x, since I ain't sure the reasons are common.
shark commentedsubscribe. Seeing the same thing; this version of Admin and devel_themer 6.x-1.x-dev.
designerbrent commentedI wonder what the options are for fixing this...
sickness29 commentedDevelopment or support is not planned for D6. All D6-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
Thanks!
