zach harkey commented+1 Notes would be so incredibly useful, especially if there was a link to 'notes' alongside the download ,restore, delete operations on the List pages. The Available updates page does this same kind of thing with "Release notes" and it is extremely useful.
Rob_Feature commentedJust keeping this one alive...I'd love to be able to add notes to help me remember what state a backup is in for future reference.

kytom commentedJust thought of the same thing. It'd be so useful! Any chances of implementing this?

v1adimir commentedit's a must have feature. especially on development stage.
ronan commentedThis is on the docket for v3 which should be up for testing as soon as I can find a little free time to clean up what I have done and push it.
jeffschuler@ronan: Maybe you could push what you have to a feature branch, and someone else can test/adapt it?
Ace Cooper commentedWow, this issue is long time overdue.
Many thanks to the maintainers/developers for this handy module.
The textarea for description is available on Advanced backup page, but that is 3-clicks-too-deep for me.
I liked the idea of a description input on the quick backup form, offered in #6 by xandeadx.
Please, find attached the patch against 7.x-2.x master branch dated 19 Feb 2013.
ronan commentedThanks for the patch! Stay tuned for the soon-to-be-dev-ready 3.x branch which will have this and many more new features.
