Hello,

I would like to request for Views 3 and VBO 6.x-3.x compatibility for Privatemsg Views.
VBO project page says Views 6.x-3.x works with VBO 6.x-3.x only.

I have been using the most recent dev and development of this module looks awesome!

Views 3.x is cool but lots of time will pass before it becomes stable and all modules port their handlers/plugins. I am using 2.x branch and won't promise anything at this point.

It would be very awesome to see Privatemsg Views working with Views 3!
I moved over to Views 3 several months ago. The support is great and it is pretty stable at the moment (works now for everything I am using it for, with only privatemsg views remaining). Below are a list of modules that have added Views 3 compatibility and there are more.

Please note that not only I don't use Views 3.x yet, but also Privatemsg Views will have to be partly rewritten because Views 3.x has better support of features we need (such as GROUP BY). So it will most likely require significant amount of work.

FYI dev release of Privatemsg Views should be compatible with latest VBO beta which supports both Views 2 and 3 and it's stated that VBO 3.x branch is obsolete.

Here were the changes I made. To be honest, I'm not sure of the cleanliness of this patch, because it was taken against a client's code.

Erikwebb - can you please post this patch but for Views 2 and privatemsg 2? Privatemsg Rules are only available for 6.2 and Views are only available for 6.1. I really need to have both, can you please help me?

Unfortunately I no longer have access to this client's code base, so I won't be able to test out a solution in the same environment.
