Extends the functionality of the Feeds: Module. YouTube fetcher allows a user to copy paste URLs from YouTube directly into Drupal. Data from the provided sources will aggregate atom feeds that can be stored and mapped to Nodes in Drupal. The fetcher provides atom feeds as a string. Hint: Use "Feeds: YouTube" Module to parse the feed
Installation
Install the "Feed" and "Feed YouTube" modules listed below. When adding a feed select "Youtube Fetcher" as fetcher. No settings required. URL arguments listed under Valid URLs can now be used as argument for the feed field
Dependencies
- http://drupal.org/project/feeds
- http://drupal.org/project/feeds_youtube
Note: feed_youtube is not required - you may change to a different youtube parser of your own choise.
Valid URLs
- user feeds (http://www.youtube.com/user/[username]?...)
- single video entry (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[videoID]...)
