Hi,

I am using Abessive theme. From last 2 days I am trying to edit WIDTH of LEFT SIDEBAR, CONTENT AREA, AND RIGHT SIDEBAR.

My requirement is: Suppose width of LEFT SIDEBAR and RIGHT SIDEBAR are 220px each, then I need 150px both of them and CONTENT AREA width expands both sides.

I am editing this file: \themes\abessive\style.css but no result.

Please help, in which section of style.css should I edit?

Note: I am newbie to Drupal and CSS.

i had to reinstall everything onto a new hard drive. This version of drupal was working FINE...I pretty much duplicated all of the installation by copying PHP and mysql 5.0 data onto the new hard drive.

System:

win xp pro with IIS
PHP 5.2.5
MySQL Server 5.0

that is the site. At first when I opened the link in internet explorer 6 it would just show the code of the index.php file. When I open the link in google chrome it tries to download a file which is index.php. Now When I open it in internet explorer 7 I get an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. All of the settings were pretty much the same between the 2 installations.

I also tried installing a fresh copy of drupal 4.6.0 and i get the same problem above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am newbie, don't know php. I installed Drupal to my site 15 days ago. I have 4 years experience of webmastership in manually making 1000s pages for my 5+ websites. Now I want to use proper CMS, so I came to Drupal.

Till now, I know page, theme, module, and other basic terms. I searched my requirements to Drupal sites, but frankly speaking, I don't know what to search according to my requirements.

I am using Minnelli theme (Fixed width theme). My requirement is, I need 4 quadrant to my content block, and only I want to put content from "Create content > page" to my 2nd quadrant. And I want to control 1st, 3rd, and 4th quadrant from somewhere(may be from Module) and these 3 quadrants will be common to some particular menu item.

I have tried Panels (don't know much), I realized panels will change total page look (may be I am wrong), while only I need 4 area(quadrants) in content block.

Please give some idea for my next step of learning drupal.

Firstly, I have searched the forums and can't find a suitable answer.

On the home page, if I insert one flash object it displays fine. If I insert two or more, then none of them display.

Hoping for a simple answer, but will accept complicated ones. :-)
