I mostly write and submit patches to the Drupal contributions pool related to the projects I work on. I've done some stuff with the Drupal Association and the testing platform.
If you're trying to get my attention about a contributed module, I generally delete incoming mail that has no genuine offers to help. For example, I will make a prioritized effort to commit patches because you have actually put forth some effort. If you want to become a co-maintainer, and you have some history of showing you have an aptitude for doing such things, I will likely add you if you can describe some sort of vision you have for the module. If you want to give me money, I will probably direct some limited amount of my attention to your needs. Any other commentary or questions about "when will you do this," "subscribe," "+1," "I have this problem and don't know how to fix it," etc will probably be ignored by me.
